Hayden had been heading off to another job when she recieved a call from an old friend of hers, another hunter she knew, Brian Migizi. She had just gotten rid of another spirit that wouldn't cross over, and she really hated working with them. A lot of them could be pretty violent, thankfully, this one hadn't been too bad, the only wounds she had recieved had been a small cut on her leg, and a bruise on the left side of her stomach, other than that nothing too serious. Her black mustang convertible had been left unscathed, since she had refused to let it get damaged again, since her Father had threated to switch vehicles with her, if she damaged it one more time, and it was a known fact that she loved her car, it was fast and she could put the top down and let the wind blow all around her. She was listening to a CD her dad had made for her birthday, it had a few of the songs she really liked, the one playing at the moment was 'Carry on my Wayward Son' by Kansas.

She had another hour to go before she got to the ranch she was supposed to meet Brian at. She stared straight ahead as she drove, she was tired from the night before, but she had told Brian she was available to go so she was going to be there. She would easily admit that she had a crush on Brian, but he was dedicated to the arranged marriage his parents had set up for him, and she honestly respected the fact that he was staying commited to it, even though she found it a bit odd because of the fact he had never met the woman he was supposed to marry and he had amitted to her that he may never meet her. She always wondered and kinda hoped that maybe one day he might change his mind, but she knew he was a bit of a stubborn man when it came to certain things, so this time while they hunted together she wasnt going to bring it up, she'd already told herself that, and she was going to make sure she kept to it, which she knew wouldnt be too hard after all, she was only twenty years old, she still had a long life ahead of her nothing she needed to push further than needed. Shaking her head again she mentally made sure she had everything for Wendigo's in her trunk, of course she did but she sometimes got worried before going on a hunt and had to mentally recheck, since she was able to remember everything she put in her car.

An hour passed and she pulled into the lane way of the ranch, parking her car quickly, she asked if anyone had seen Brian, and someone pointed her towards a cabin and she walked over, she didnt bother knocking she just walked in. She had a large sack on her back, it carried only a few things to eat, mostly nutritional bars, and a few useful weapons for Wendigo's. She had once tried convincing her dad to let her buy a flame thrower for things like this, but the idea didnt sell very well. She looked around and noticed Brian laying on the couch, sleeping. He looked like he needed it but Hayden shook her head, it was going to be a long few days of hunting, she hoped it wouldnt take too long, but that was wishful thinking, and it never helped. Setting her bag down she walked over to the couch and poked his forehead. Brian, I swear to god if you don;t get up I'll go get the Wendigo without you. she said loud enough that it would wake him up.
